Specialized Instruction Available
Shooting Booths for Events
The JGCAP provides shooting booths and instructors for large events such as Game Fair, Cabela's/SCI YES Event, and other outdoor/shooting sports events. We specialize in providing a fun shooting experience with the ability to handle hundreds of participants in one event. Annual sponsor of our organization recieve this benefit free of charge as a way for our program to show appreciation and to teach the youth in the Cadet Program there is "no free lunch".
Other organizations can hire the JGCAP to come to their events to run shooting booths, do instruction or give seminars. If you or your organization would be interested, contact Travis Stewart or Russ Frys on the contacts page.
Summer Courses
The JGCAP also provides instructors and equipment for summer archery courses through county and city agencies as well as through organizations like the Wildlife Science Center and Tamarack Nature Center. These courses can range from a two hour hands-on introductory course to a 4 week program, meeting twice a week, that focus on skill development, safety and knowledge of equipment. The instructors are all highly skilled and competent with the equipment, as well as organized with lesson plans that we develop or that your organization develops. Tailor Made Instruction
The JGCAP can also provide instruction for smaller groups such as the boy scouts, girl scouts, 4H, private/religious schools, etc. who require specialized instruction. We can provide a specialized archery experience for your group that will be fun and educational yet maintains the highest regard for safety.
