Cadet Program Personal Profiles

The Cadet Program is the youth leadership training program of the JGCAP. Youth must participate in one full year of JGCAP leagues, education and events to be considered for Cadet Candidacy. Youth are chosen for displaying three qualities:

  • Integrity in the face of peer pressure
  • Responsibility to the community you represent
  • Service and stewardship

The Cadets become mentors for the next generation of youth participating. They are trained in leadership skills, archery instructor certification, technical archery skills, tournament archery, survival and first aid, guiding and advanced hunting technique.
